Grande Galerie des Glaces

I had to start pilling my kitty today, and it is mind-boggling how she can keep one-half a teeny-tiny pill *just* out of her mouth! She balanced it on the tip of her tongue, managed to lick *all* of the gooshy food from around it and balance it inside her lip... all under the fascinated gaze of my little ChiPom, who was more than eager to take the cat's medicine for her, lol. I *think* she finally swallowed it because it disappeared into her maw and she was in a state of pissoff for a time but all seems to be forgiven now. But as this is medicine for her kidneys and needs to be a daily event, we shall see...

So feel free to ignore this post. Oh, I did manage to get LeeAnn's liscense today--cost a whole $3 because she isn't spayed. *SIGH* Yes, I know it needs to be done but I honestly haven't been able to get the $75 together long enough to get her to the vet, and he doesn't take payments. I wanted to have it done when she was still a pup but Mom was afraid it would "change" her and since she was really Mom's dog, I went along w/it. Little did I know just how broke I would be after Mom died. :( Meh. At least I have some of the bigger bills paid off (or up, as the case may be) like car insurance but I am still making those monthly payments on my life insurance and the *other* insurance. That *other* is what kills me -- just under $200/mo. If not for that, I could have manage much better and maybe even be able to get a new car sooner. *sigh* Again, meh. No other news until I get tomorrow's mail.
