Steve Jobs, the man responsible for bringing all the iThings to the world, has died.
Mr. Jobs was 56 years old. He succumbed to pancreatic cancer, which he had been battling for years.
Whether you were a fan of Apple’s products or thought they were a bunch of iCrap, it’s hard to deny that the technology industry lost a giant today.
Our thoughts are with Mr. Jobs’ family and friends at this time.

Yet Another Reason I Hate January
Jan. 14th, 2009 11:30 pmI just learned that one of my XF sibs,
sharonmarais died. Ironically enough, she was in health care, and worked at a hospital. She hadn't been feeling well -- to quote from
candygramme:
"She had the bug that all of us have been fighting off. Felt a little better and returned to work (in a hospital no less) and then felt really horrid on Thursday night. She went to the docs, who told her it was just a virus and to go home and rest.
It was meningitis, and it killed her. She died yesterday (10 Jan?) at 2:15pm UK time in the hospital at Cambridge."
I didn't know her well, but she seemed to be a super person and one of those that is a credit to fandom. She will be missed by a lot of people. :'(
