Yet Another Reason I Hate January

la_samtyrI just learned that one of my XF sibs, sharonmarais died. Ironically enough, she was in health care, and worked at a hospital. She hadn't been feeling well -- to quote from candygramme:
"She had the bug that all of us have been fighting off. Felt a little better and returned to work (in a hospital no less) and then felt really horrid on Thursday night. She went to the docs, who told her it was just a virus and to go home and rest.
It was meningitis, and it killed her. She died yesterday (10 Jan?) at 2:15pm UK time in the hospital at Cambridge."
I didn't know her well, but she seemed to be a super person and one of those that is a credit to fandom. She will be missed by a lot of people. :'(
