Today's News

Well, actually this is about what happened yesterday. *Yesterday* I totally vegged out on tv. There was an LotR marathon on cable (12 hrs.) -- someday I must snag the extended versions and run all three back-to-back. :) Then it was time for local news/weather, followed by 'Legend of the Seeker' and "Grey Gardens' [Note to self: *Never* watch GG again, it's too f'n depressing and *way* too much like it was with mom at the end. 'Nuff said.] after which thanks to a sib, I re-watched "The Bunyip Video". C, you will be very happy to know that the nightmares that failed to materialize the night before from watching it showed up in full force. Mostly it involved a dragon's teeth scenario, only raptors spring up from drops of blood. Yeah. Right. Somehow I don't feel up to analyzing that one, I think it explains itself.

*Today* was spent recuperating from yesterday. I slept until... late and woke up with the tv still on and 'Matrix' just starting. ::eyeroll:: (I can almost like Elrond, and then Agent Smith reminds me of why the Perelda creeps me out so bad. Why oh why could his sons not have had more of a role? Why?) Then I managed to slam my fingers in the door, cutting them nicely. >:( My fingers are half band-aids now, and they freakin' *hurt*! I also went to see Auntie, since she was being fussy that I hadn't seen her lately. *sigh* Oh well, maybe she will be happy for awhile.

Oh yes, last but not least MS Office/Word is being weird. I had to finally uninstall it. More on that later though. Right now I need to try and sleep, if possible. Niters!

I'm looking forward to grey gardens, I remember reading an article about them in vanity fair (likely from the book? maybe book) and they are quite fascinating if strange.

It was pretty good really but like I said, it brought back too many hard memories of mom.
