More About Today
Apr. 23rd, 2008 11:02 pmWell, I cat-napped a little bit. Plus paid a humongous amount to the insurance company for Mom's place -- worst of all, it's only for six months. I simply must try and change that as soon as I can get it looking better on the outside at least. *sigh*
Since it was nice out, I tried to do some cleaning. At least the porch is on it's way to being "de-catted" because all of the little monsters were camping there this winter and while I love them dearly, there were just way too many in a small space. They are mostly outside now though but they still sneak in when possible.
Best of all, I can finally reach my deep freeze again, which means I will be ditching a whole lot of stuff that has been in there since before my former brother left... The good thing is that I will be able to clean out some of the stuff I have in my refrigerator and put it in the freezer. Mostly extra flour, sugar, etc. Why, I might actually have a refrigerator again as well. What luxury!
While cleaning up the porch, I managed to find a whole box of cds I thought I had traded or sold. Now that I have them found again, I am going to try and save them to my computer and then I will re-sell most of them. Or maybe donate them to the library sale, or trade, or *something*...
I should try and get some sleep so I can do a little more since tomorrow it is supposed to be rainy in the afternoon. (There was just a little bit of rain here this evening but nothing much, and the storm warnings were mostly south, west and north of here.)
Oh and I set up an appointment for Lucky to get her shots on Monday. They're just due now, and since she's older, she'll get them all at once (rabies, distemper, etc.) Actually, I think that she must be about fourteen by now which is fairly old. But she's an indoor cat and spayed, so that gives her a big edge.
Nothing more for now -- maybe tomorrow? Niters!
