Today I took Sister and Baby back to the vet because I was worried about their incisions. Unsurprisingly, they had removed the outer stomach stitches and Sister seems to have developed a minor hernia, so the vet decided to keep them until Monday and give them antibiotics and Sister might get an xray to double-check the hernia problem. Baby had to be pried out of the carrier but Sister came out willingly. And oh yes, it seems that might go into a "false heat" despite the surgery. Joy. Interestingly though, MamaKitty and Daughter don't seem to have this problem.

From there, I went to do a few errands and I intended to go to "The Water Horse" but I got totally wiped out while I was in a store and I just barely managed to check out w/o getting sick. I figure it was probably low blood sugar, or maybe just plain exhaustion because I have been ultra-tired the past few days. Anyway, I went to get some fast food and ordered a nice meal of fried grease [*snerk*] w/a chocolate shake and regular soda. It did help and I felt better after eating except that I still felt wiped out and unexpectedly chilly. Even after a trip to the grocery store, I didn't feel that much better. So instead of the movie, I went to visit my aunt and came home. A nice nap did help some; perhaps actually going to sleep before 9pm will be even better.

So I am logging off early and will be around tomorrow -- though I still might go and see "The Water Horse" if I am feeling better. In cold weather like this, matinees are a *must*! Niters everyone!

My kitty kindly removed her own stitches to save the vet the trouble. *g* My other kitty managed to break a bone in his foot and he had a splint on his whole leg. He shook it and shook it and shook it until the splint fell off. Although the bone wasn't completely healed, he felt much better and he's fine now. *sigh*

shivering - off to drink coffee. :)

Oh yes, they are expert stitch-removers, aren't they? [g] I'm glad to know that your babies are ok now. Hope everything is going well for you now. Have a Happy New Year, and take care! :)
