So, as many of you here know by now, most of this "notebook" is going to be dealing with LotR-related things, such as the actors and their movies. More on that later. For now, all you need to know is that I have been watching "Legend of the Seeker", guest starring Craig Parker on Saturday afternoons.

I haven't been writing about this much at the "other place" because I know most of my other sibs have minimal interest at best in this (SPN seems to have taken up their interests, that and reality tv shows) and I like a place where I can just go and squee and fangirl w/o feeling "weird". It's not that I grudge them their interests, it's just that I haven't followed along this time and it makes it hard, y'know? But anyway...

The last Season 1 ep -related stuff under here, so read on *only* if you don't mind being spoiled.

Well, sort-of anyway. It's only me and the furkids, so I have assorted goodies marinating and thawing and cooking/baking. It rained off and on all night, just enough to make it nice and wet. Oh well. Of course, I no longer have an outdoor grill, nor could I hope to grill without every cat in town showing up, so there is that to consider as well.

For a snack, I made a roast beef-and-cheese tortilla wrap. I made the mistake of taking it downtown while I went to get the weekend paper and about six people wanted to know (a) what was I eating and (b) when learning it was roast beef-and-cheese, asked *why* I didn't use bread. My answer that I had tortillas but not bread got me the usual weird looks. Again, oh well. Actually, it's a pretty good substitute. And I need to start making my own tortillas again because they are freakin' *expensive* -- the cheapest was 6 for $2.00+. ::boggles:: Well, at least I had these plus they had been on sale, so they weren't that expensive. And I can always reuse the bag to freeze my own in.

Catching the last bit of "Fever Pitch" on tv. Not the greatest movie ever maybe but it's a nice change from all the war movies and other blah stuff that seems to be clogging the tv channels. Oh, and 'The Wicker Man' was on the pay-movie channel last night but I missed it because I can't afford the upgrade. ::shrugs:: That's why I have a wish list anyway, lol.

I was planning on a movie out but I think I will wait until tomorrow instead.
