Well, sort-of anyway. It's only me and the furkids, so I have assorted goodies marinating and thawing and cooking/baking. It rained off and on all night, just enough to make it nice and wet. Oh well. Of course, I no longer have an outdoor grill, nor could I hope to grill without every cat in town showing up, so there is that to consider as well.

For a snack, I made a roast beef-and-cheese tortilla wrap. I made the mistake of taking it downtown while I went to get the weekend paper and about six people wanted to know (a) what was I eating and (b) when learning it was roast beef-and-cheese, asked *why* I didn't use bread. My answer that I had tortillas but not bread got me the usual weird looks. Again, oh well. Actually, it's a pretty good substitute. And I need to start making my own tortillas again because they are freakin' *expensive* -- the cheapest was 6 for $2.00+. ::boggles:: Well, at least I had these plus they had been on sale, so they weren't that expensive. And I can always reuse the bag to freeze my own in.

Catching the last bit of "Fever Pitch" on tv. Not the greatest movie ever maybe but it's a nice change from all the war movies and other blah stuff that seems to be clogging the tv channels. Oh, and 'The Wicker Man' was on the pay-movie channel last night but I missed it because I can't afford the upgrade. ::shrugs:: That's why I have a wish list anyway, lol.

I was planning on a movie out but I think I will wait until tomorrow instead.

Maybe it's just because I live in an area that has a strong Hispanic influence, but the idea of a tortilla wrap doesn't sound that unusual.

I think it was the roast beef and cheese, with mayo and mustard, that puzzled them. Still no idea why though.

Awww Fever Pitch! One of the few romantic comedies that points out BOTH a man and a woman must compromise in a relationship, not just one. <3

Very true. :) And it shows a woman being successful at math-related job! (Still not sure how that happened... it's so nice from the usual fashion career.) Plus the guy teaches math using baseball scores etc.! ;) It's probably why I actually like it instead of my usual "just barely tolerating it" attitude.

I just can't get into wraps.

Your one sounds very nice though.

They are really fun. :) Nice and handy, I will be having them for lunch tomorrow most likely.
