Today's News and Weather Report

I think I will maybe go in and have the dr. look at my shoulder; it's still very stiff and sore.

Late last night we had more loud thunder but as the furkids were all zoned out and snoring, it didn't worry me. :D

As for yesterday though: There were a few tornadoes spotted but none that did any serious damage. I said that there was probably tornadic activity in the clouds going over, and it looks like I was right.

Btw, is it just me or did elJ change it's layout at the top? Mine is totally different and I wish I knew what I did -- or rather, the cat, who jumped on my hand as I was shutting down last night. Because I *do not* like the new layout and I'd like the old one back *please*. So if anyone knows how, please let me know ok? (Otoh, if it was changed by elJ, then I'm just SOL. Change w/o notice is yet another reason I'm less than happy w/elJ. But I would like to know, one way or the other.)

TPTB at LJ did the navigation strip change and announced it in the weekly new post/letter. You can modify it some as well as turn it off, but it doesn't look like you have the option to go back to the old one.

I guess I will just have to live with it then. Meh. This is what I really, seriously hate about elJ. I should get the weekly newsletter/post but I don't because I am too used to knowing that my opinion/feelings don't matter to them. :(

Yeah, I keep thinking there's going to be a big money pitch before long like: "get a paid account and no more troubles" or something of that ilk.

I'm annoyed with it just because it's not consistent over the site. Plus the small font that's hard to read...

Heh, actually that part doesn't bother me. Some time back the one good thing my kittehs did in a game of "leap and chase over the keyboard" was to hit *something* while I was trying to type and now I have a larger reading font, lol.

I don't like the new LJ layout either.Why are they always changing things? I hope your shoulder is soon better.

I wish they would quit changing things but I am convinced that they are doing it to drive people to paid accounts where everything will be "all fixed, no more problems." Of course they aren't saying it, it's just the impression I get.

Hopefully my shoulder will be better soon. I am tired of it hurting.
