This has been making the rounds of my flist, so here goes:
Creatures/Aliens:
Oh yes. I started out in XFiles, after all. So I know I must have done a couple of them. Plus I started an O-fic once using aliens but it's hiding somewhere....
Mpreg:
If you're reading this and you know me at all, then you know that I *adore* mpreg. I read it, and I write it. ::waves to authors:: I know it squicks some people but it doesn't me.
Slave, BDSM, D/S, S/M:
Depending on the writer and their premise/fandom and how it is handled, I either love it or hate it. (Most of it is really good btw.)
Age Difference:
It depends on too many variables. Right now I'm pretty much in Tolkien, so the age thing is somewhat moot when dealing with Elves.
With humans: I prefer to have them somewhat close in age but not always. It depends on the maturity of the individuals involved.
Bloodplay:
Again, everything depends on writer/fandom/context.
Underage (chan):
See above. But I do hold this to a higher standard than other.
Crossdressing/Genderbender:
But of course! (Again, this is in part due to my XFiles days -- one of the S1 eps was titled "Genderbender" and featured Nick Lea, right before he returned in S2 as Alex Krycek. ;)
Bodyswap:
Oh yeah! See above.
Dubcon/Noncon:
Again, context is everything plus how the material is handled.
Tw-Incest/Selfcest:
If the siblings are of the age of consent (depending on the fandom, obviously), then I'm fine with it. And since I have a definite weakness for twins, well, let's just say I have a little extra fascination for Elladan/Elrohir (and the myriad of other twins to be found in Tolkien. :)
Parent/child can be very triggering for me though, and I don't really care for it.
Threesome/moresome/gangbang:
Oh sure! The more the merrier, y'know. XD (Again, if it's handled right...)
Death:
It depends. As long as it's not gratuitous, I'm ok with it. Juat please warn for it.
Watersports/scat:
Ewwwwww. ::gags:: No. Just... No. N + O = NO!!!
Crossovers:
Yes, if they are handled properly and if the fandoms have enough similarities (or something else can be utilized) to make it plausible. (Ex: LotR/Merlin, HP... Stargate, even.)
Unhappy/wide-open endings:
Of course! [vbeg]
Violence/torture:
So much depends on context, and why. It doesn't really bother me but at times it can definitely be a sensitive issue.
Established relationship:
I am always intrigued by established relationships (probably because I have never known one.) So it's one of those things where it's a curiousity (sic) more than something I can actually identify with. But I like to think that it is not that impossible.
RPF:
Sometimes, if I am really familiar with the RP's in question.
Band Fic:
No. Or at least, not at this time.
AUs:
Yes! Absolutely! :) j'adore, j'adore, j'adore....
