It's A Monday :p
May. 15th, 2006 06:01 pmToday I discovered that Lucky does not do well w/ "intruders". Mulanne sneaked in when I wasn't looking. Luckily I hadn't *quite* left and had to run back inside the house for my purse and all at once I heard some yowling, which could only mean one thing. Trouble. I looked in the living room and saw Lucky staring at a plant, ears flattened. I walked closer and sure enough, Mulanne was hiding beside the plant. I yelled at them, they jumped and started chasing each other, had a brief spat that fortunately didn't draw blood mainly because I grabbed Mulanne quick. Of course LeeAnn was right in the middle of it and jumped at Mulanne as I was picking her up. With the sort of luck that is supposed to attend fools (and usually doesn't), no-one was hurt, injured or clawed. ::brushes forehead:: Whew! That was *close* and I'll definitely have to watch Mulanne closer than I have been. She's sneaked in before but usually I catch her before she can get very far. Oh well. Once I can afford her FLIV test, then I'll worry about them getting along.
My cellphone antenna broke off, so now I definitely will have to get a new one. Feh. This one should still work ok, as long as I keep the charge up. And I've got *a lot* of time left on it--nearly six hours. (It's a prepaid one, thanks to the ex-from-hell. The only serious drawback is that the minutes aren't transferable.) But it's damned awkward. This phone has been great, darn near perfect. I've had it almost three years and it's only been in the last few months that the battery has started to go bad. Next trip to Hastings will include a trip to check on new phones.
Ok, back later on.
