I've only seen a *real* one of these when I was younger. There used to be real Gypsies who camped every summer in a little village, on *common land* i.e. they were allowed to, rather than getting thrown off by the landowners. So they would camp there, graze their horses and do odd jobs for the local people and farms. There were only about four of those caravans even then, and now the *travelers* you generally see are different, with camper vans.
I love all sorts of horse-drawn wagons; I would *love* to have one of these. I've never actually seen them irl though I did check out different horse vacations/tours once; in Ireland they offered a vacation where you could rent one of these wagons and a horse to drive around... ::dreamy sighs:: It sounded so lovely...
And as I mentioned, there *used* to be a place in Ireland that offered vacations/tours where you could rent one of these that was horse-drawn... ::dreamy sigh::
That is really cool one. I actually got to see a real one (being used by gypsies) in Oregon a few years ago. They fascinate me. The electric light and extension cord up there threw me for a loop, lol.

Lol, yes, they are rather like that :) I was thinking of these when I wrote them, and the Mhadi are semi-nomadic, rather like the Gypsies.
