1. Nerdanel ignored her husband’s distress, smiled graciously at the twins and calmly began to butter a roll.

3. And while Oropher dearly loved his son, Thranduil did not yet possess a calm or quiet personality.
4. The cool, damp weather made every one crowd as close as possible to the meager heat.
5. She allowed herself a tiny frown. Never a large one, for that would spoil her looks.
