About Today

I do feel better overall, but I start feeling very tired about this time. The cough remains nasty so I will probably go in to dr. again next week. And I really need stronger cough syrup, for real. Not what I want to do, mind you but I don't think I should be this tired and have occasional chills.

S. stopped by yesterday evening and he said he could tell just by listening that I had bronchitis. [His ex-wife, who divorced him so she could have full health coverage (it was a pre-existing condition and so his insurance wouldn't pay anything; everything was full price) and it was one of those very rare cases where neither wanted the divorce but were essentially forced to it by the health companies. *Anyway*, she has a lot of lung trouble and he can tell just by listening what a cough is. Lovely to have a super-quick diagnosis like that, eh? And free too. ;)] *He* is concerned that I take extra-good care so it doesn't turn into bronchial pneumonia.

The weather is very cold and windy which probably isn't helping. And teh kittehs are kind enough to let me share their heated throw, lol.

So it's off to bed for now unless I happen to wake up in a bit. Maybe I will be on later then? We'll see.

oh god, don't try to rush around with Bronchitis. Stay in bed until you are better and add a day to be sure.

Oh dear, poor you. :( Do take extra care. Have you tried steaming? Sometimes it helps.

I had bronchitis once that lasted about 8 weeks and two courses of antibiotics. That was a really bad dose; it would just not let go of me and my cough was a real paroxysm cough where you can't stop and double over. Unfortunately I had let it get to the cough and feeling ill before I saw the doctor, which is why it lingered so long, I think. Hugs and get well soon.

I've tried *a lot* of things but so far, nothing has really kicked in. Today is nice and *lovely* out very warm, no wind), so I might sit out and read a bit to see if will help
