Today's Update
Apr. 30th, 2006 11:26 amNot much news. Everything quiet. I was going to wash but it was kinda cloudy and cool out. Maybe tomorrow if it warms up?
In Kitten News--The kittens are starting to make some noise, now. LOL. LeeAnn was sleeping on her back, all zonked out when I heard a tiny squeak. LeeAnn rolled over and raised her head, tilting it back and forth, her expression one of total curiousity with her little fox ears focussed on the noises she heard. Took her a total of five seconds to focus her 'radar' on the squeaks and about one second to get to the door and stand guard, sniffing as hard as she could and continuing to tilt her head back and forth. Heeee. I still haven't seen 'em but from the sound of it, there's a tom in there because only toms make the certain little loud sqeak. Heh. Yup, I'm pretty skilled at determining what's going on in Kitten World by the sound of their mews. As soon as Mulanne brings them out--they're just a week old today, I think--I'll be able to post their descriptions. Maybe if I can figure how to take pics and get 'em online, I'll do that to. That's kind of a big if though. I'm curious to know, because Mulanne herself is nearly pure Manx which means the kittens might have no tails, or just partial tails. Years ago one of our neighbors had a Manx tom that kept busy cruising around and every so often a Manx-ish kitten like Mulanne turns up. So we'll see.
