This Time, Someone Weird On Y-Im

Ok, so I'm just hanging out online, not doing much except messing around the house a bit when I hear the audible for Y . I was finishing dishes and went on ahead, figuring it wasn't anything major. When I sat down I looked at the sn and didn't recognise it. No biggie, 'cause I'm in some really large groups and I thought it was someone from there or maybe someone I knew w/a new sn. So, I say hi and the first question is: "do you write fanfic? I say, yeah used to a little bit. Anyway, this person wanted me to write Smallville slash, and specified NC-17. I refused and they were going "pleeeeze" and I said no again and then they got freaky, demanding that I write it. So I said I had to get ready for working the night shift and I'd talk another time, and logged out of Y. I'm not too bothered though it does make me a bit nervous. Not may people know I write, especially since some of my early XF stuff is under a different name entirely. So I guess I will wait and see what happens. Most of the people who know me know that I write only very specific fics and it takes me forever to finish 'em too. If this person had mentioned one of them... but they didn't. And they didn't say, guess who? like my new sn? or anything to indicate they knew me personally. So yeah, I'll be watching my IM's even closer now, even though my buddy lists are pretty slim (I lost my primary ones in The Great Computer Mix-up of May '05). Ok, time for me to start cruising eBay again. Later!

Yeah it is. Not sure if they were just trolling or what. I changed my settings though to be safe.

It is. Makes you wonder how/why these people find you the first place. You can never take enough precautions.
