About Today

No more nice weather. In fact, it's downright nasty out. Cold, and *windy*: we had fairly steady winds of around 30+ mph -- with a few gusts that were 50+ mph. Ugh! So of course it had to be now, when I still need to finish up a few winterizing projects. Of course. And tomorrow will be much the same. *le sigh* The cats spent most of the day curled up tightly, nose-to-tail, as did my little dog. Proof that I need to turn the furnace on.

Otoh, I am feeling better now. The headache is less (though still a bit touchy at times) but the 'chill' part is essentially finished for the time being. Yesterday I got a flu shot, so I should be all set for winter.

Thursday is Errand Day, and I am going to indulge in a new hoodie or two, and perhaps some more sweats. I know I have some but exactly *where* they are is a mystery. All I know is, they are not where they should be! Grrrr!

In other news, Laerweniel was born yesterday at 1:15 pm. :)

Off to bed,I guess as it is too cold for me to stay up very late. I will be glad when the furnace man checks out the furnace -- the sooner the better, imho!

Yes, I am glad the headache is mostly gone. Though I'm on a waiting list for the furnace to be checked.
