If you have pictures that don't have the date and/or people written on the back, Please Do It. Like right now would be an excellent time. I have *oodles* of old pictures that are unlabelled, for lack of a better word. I have no idea who some of these people are. Not a *clue*! Do you have any idea how many old b/w photos have people dressed in their best clothes? Don't even get me started on the outdoor ones of harvest crews, rural schools or the like. Worst of all, babies! **sigh** Most babies are dressed in white and propped up staring at the camera---and I'm sorry here, but all babies tend to look the same. And being in white (or at least it comes across as white), the pics tend to be gender-neutral. Trying to describe said photos are damned near impossible, believe me! At least wedding photos are easier to guess. But these others are an absolute headache.
