Today's News and Weather Report

Not much news, other than I think I have been catching up on sleep. I slept most of yesterday because I was so *tired* from not sleeping because of all the weird heat and no a/c. Now that there is a/c, I am definitely making up for lost time.

Also, the weather has cooled down a bit from the worst of the heat index. Of course it may very well go up in a few days but for now I am enjoying the cooler weather pattern for a change.

I can definitely empathise with catching up on sleep! I open all the windows and run fans all night but for a couple nights in a row it didn't get below 75 deg in my apartment. Now the heat has dropped and I don't even have to close up during the day. I hate the heat!

I know exactly what you mean! I just melt in the heat. I suppose it could be worse but it's hard to know how sometimes.
