How Hot Is It?

la_samtyrBetween the dew point (78-ish) and the actual temp (90F-ish), the heat index is about 110F. I think that's what they said on the news anyway. So I am staying inside and trying to keep cool. I seriously need to invest in a window a/c. My tank top is soaked with sweat, and I am just wearing *shorts*. (And yes, the door is firmly locked.)
Summer was here earlier and we continued cleaning the kitchen. Much was accomplished but a lot more needs to be done. A whole lot more. But we basically quit because it was so blasted hot.
And now, time to try and cool off some.
