Today's News and Weather Report

Today, I actually got things accomplished! Summer came to help with some long-overdue cleaning and organizing, so I now have something resembling a kitchen again. Yes! :D Still along way to go though since my back has been catching and stuff on the floor generally stays on the floor because if my back locks up, I'm in trouble. It will take another round to get it in shape but it's a good start.

Interestingly, LeeAnn was very friendly and made up to her with only some occasional barks and "chirrs" (they weren't growls, just talk.) But Fatters, my grey indoor cat, totally *freaked* when she saw Summer, lazers on full -- and hid until she left. Lucky, otoh, simply remained hidden/napping as she usually does in the morning. I'm not sure that Lucky even knew there was a stranger here. But LeeAnn was very accepting of Summer, which is a good thing because it means that I have a potential pet sitter. :)

Also, I did some laundry. Not sure how well it will dry on the line because there is rain predicted but we'll see what happens.

Tomorrow I will call the computer guy so I can get my new computer (since Tuesday he wasn't in Hastings but Kearney instead.) I also get to go in to Hastings for groceries and to get some heavy duty storage boxes.

Even squatting is awkward. My kitchen is not designed very well but it's just one of those things that I have to deal with. *sigh*

i love line dried clothes, i hated when i had to use a dryer.

Line-dried clothes are the best! :)

Dryers are a necessary evil though. :(
