1) If you could change one event in the history of Middle-earth, which one would it be and why?
Oh, so many choices! This is hard! But I think that I would have Fëanor's first-born child be female and not male. I'm convinced that Fëanor -- or maybe Nerdanel -- secretly wanted a girl, which is why they had seven kids. Maedhros would still be the first-born son, just the second child instead of the first.
It would also be interesting to see how Prof. Tolkien would written a Noldor queen; I am guessing he would be portrayed her in the style of Elizabeth I or perhaps Victoria.
2) If you were a Vala, which one would you be?
I suppose I'd be Vána because I love gardening. :)
3) If you could take three elves (or Men, or hobbits, dwarves etc.) to a lonely island with you, who would you choose?
Wow, this is even harder than the first question! Only three? Ah well, no point in being greedy is there? ;)
a. Fëanor -- because I'd love to see what he would invent.
b. Eöl -- again, I'd love to see what he would invent.
Note: It would be fascinating to watch these two -- so much alike, and yet so different. Both slightly mad and a whole lot of paranoid, creative to the nth degree -- and wildly jealous of just about everything. I imagine they would have many brawls over who was "the best" (and have lots of hawt hawt make-up smex) and they would eventually work as a team. (Ok, this might not be the wisest course but there would be *fireworks*, I'm sure of that -- and lots hawt nummy smex.)
c. Daeron -- for music, and civilized conversation. and he'd probably act as referee between the two geniuses. ;)
