Definitely A Cold

Yup, it's definately a cold. I feel yucky--majorly so--and I will probably log off soon. Runny nose, congestion, the works. What I really hate is the cough I get. I get wicked bad coughs that sound like the beginning of pnuemonia or worse. I can breathe ok, but it's the coughing that does me in. I get so tired that I can hardly stand. Even sitting at the computer desk is a headache. Tomorrow I will go get the mail, cough syrup and tissues (in that order) before returnig to my den to hibernate. I knew this would happen when the temps were going so crazy; I always get a nasty cold. I also have a bitch of a headache. I'm more miserable than sick, you know. The oranges, Vit. C and chicken soup help a lot but it's just not enough.

Oh yeah, we got some definite snow last night; must have been about midnight 'cause I kept looking to see if it had started yet. Nice and fluffy, looks very pretty. It melted some today and blew off the trees but it is now snowing again. It's all good. I'm not complaining. Not me, nuh-uh. We are *desparate* for any moisture of any sort. It's probably not going to be enough but it's a help. I hope it sticks around, I need to burn off the pit at the farm and get rid of some of that damned brush that's accumulated over the last couple of years.
