Cleaning Out Storage

Well, at least I can actually get back *in* there again. Had to get some help; I was blocked out so that I could barely get inside the door. But it was so cold inside that I was only there about an hour or less. Brrrr! In other news, the DSL acted up late last night and went out until this afternoon. It flickered on briefly this morning before going out again. It was almost 4pm before I got back online. No idea *why* it's doing it either, either. That makes the second weekend in a row--both times it went down late Friday night and then basically off-line until... whenever. SO I got a new "breaker bar" or whatever it is you call the thing that all the computer stuff gets plugged into, making sure there is a surge protector as well. The old one seemed ok and once again, it was a questionable expense at best. *SIGH* Of course I had to buy it in Hastings, so I went out to the mall, only to discover that Radio Shack had moved out and was now north of the Evil Empire. That was sucky, 'cause I didn't want to drive that far but I did so I could get more airtime for my phone. 800 minutes worth, which would be more than plenty--if I could just get my aunt from "needing" a daily phone call. Feh. Oh, and long last I discovered a copy of the BBM soundtrack at KMart--*after* I had already bought a copy on eBay. Figures. Ok, what else can I whine about... oh yeah, being offline made me miss out on an auction I was watching on eBay, which really has me pissed. Worst of it was, I was supposed to be watching it and then I *couldn't*. Meh. It doesn't matter but it's just that why this is messing up on the weekends is beginning to bug me. Last night it timed out while I was chatting w/S. and.... ok, never mind--you've already read it. Just to play it safe, I'm going to go offline once I post this. I'm chilly and tired and I want to quit while I'm ahead and things are going well so that I stay in a decent mood. I hope whoever reads this can make sense of it; it's run-on and convoluted, which would shame my English profs no end. Hopefully I will be back online tomorrow. If not, then you will know what's happened. Niters!
