Looking through my notes, I wrote this down at some point: "idiomatic German expression which translates in part into "gingerbread horse"."

I have no idea why I wrote this down except that I thought it might work into a fic somehow, sometime. Anyone?

We have the idiom "grinsen wie ein Honigkuchenpferd" which translates to "grinning like a gingerbread horse" - it means that someone is grinning really widely. But I have no idea what you want to use that for. *g*

Me either, lol! I think I was planning some sort of crossover in 'Highlander' but this is the only fragment that remains. But I seem to always find a use for things. Eventually. ;)

Wie ein Honigkuchenpferd grinsen - Grinning like a honeycake horse. Have read it somewhere. Had noted it down.

Thank you so much. I think I have an idea where this phrase might go. Eventually. ;)

Gingerbread horse - Pfefferkuchenpferdchen *GG* (try to pronounce it). Go with the grinning part
