Updating

LeeAnn has been "needy" today and has attempted to glue herself to my left arm. *sigh* It's bad enough that I banged up my left wrist and thumb, along w/the fingers on my right hand (nevermind *how*--you don't want to know), now I am doing even less than usual. Bought more phone time yesterday and put in for a newer model cell phone as well. My little Omni though is on its last legs; Ol' Sam says he will try and keep it going until at least May. ::fingers crossed:: The hell of it is, when I *could* have gotten a newer car, Mom pitched a fit and wouldn't hear of it. Now that I *seriously* need one, I can't get a loan. Feh. In other news, teh NHL is undergoing a new scandal--even worse than steroids (ok, so maybe not worse but most assuredly as serious as) which is gambling connected to the Mob. Shitshitshitshit. Two of the biggest names being mentioned are Rick Tocchet and Janet Jones. Tocchet is Gretz's best friend and assistant coach for the Yotes while Janet is Gretz's wife. I don't see how it could be much worse; this is *not* what hockey needed. It's having a hard enough time coming back from The Season That Wasn't and now... :::shakes head::: It's a nightmare, really. In addition, there are more names, including those of current players, to be disclosed. Stay tuned.
