1) What books do you plan to give as gifts, this season?
It depends on who I am giving it to -- usually a book on local history or a local biography.
2) Is there a particular book that you hope to get?
Of course! That's why I keep a wishlist. ;)
3) Do you have a favourite Christmas/Yuletide* reread?
"The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" by Barbara Robinson. Donna gave it to me *years* ago as a Christmas gift, and I've cherished it ever since.
4) What's your favourite (tv/movie) version of Dicken's A Christmas Carol?
"Scrooge" (1951). Best version *ever*.
5) How the Grinch Stole Christmas or The Snowman?
The Grinch.
6) Do you have any Christmas book traditions?
Probably when I was little but not now.
7) Christmas social events - I'd rather be reading y/n
I'd rather be reading! But I do venture out if there will be yummy noms. ;)
8) Which cookbook gets pulled off the shelf most often over the holiday season?
It's not a published cookbook but rather a collection of recipes I've copied by hand. I have them on recipe cards so I can tack them to a bulletin board.
*for Christmas read holiday/winter/religious festival of your choice.
