I didn't do very much at all. I stayed inside most of the day and didn't go out even though it was really nice outside. Not quite as nice as yesterday but still nice. This was most due to the fact that the ex-from-hell had an aunt who died and I didn't want to chance an encounter. Besides, this way I made progress on cleaning the fridge, and other good stuff, lol.

Not much on tv today; pity. *sigh* I really need to find out why the cable company hasn't turned it off *yet* because I just can't afford it. Thc internet, yes -- that is a given. But the tv shows? There is so little that is good on, and about all the TVGuide channel shows is either "Punk'd", movie premieres or some other drivel. The 411 stuff doesn't bother me but rest of it is just meh. And since I see no point in buying a Saturday paper ($1) just to get a tv schedule when the cable has a scroll for free... just yeah. Not that I watch TVG that but I do like to know what is going to be showing.

Now it's time to try and write a bit more.

Its pouring with rain here - no going out for me and the dog today.

I don't buy papers anymore - the really important news is on the net, the rest of the paper is just gossip.

I get most of my news online too. I usually only get it for the coupons and tv section but that's still expensive.

Congrats on getting some housework done. I had over a month's worth of laundry piled up and yesterday I managed to beat everyone else in the building to the machine and hogged it half the day.

My friend in a small town got free cable for 6 yrs because they never actually came around to disconnect it even though she called them 3 times. Perhaps this is happening to you? :)

Yes, I've asked them to turn it off because I really can't afford it now. *sigh* I just need to make sure that they only cut the tv part and not the computer access. (I know -- weird. Most people would choose the opposite.)
