You are going to have to share it. My husband is Slovakian so we make Haluski, Golumpki, Goulash all the time. :D
I am always looking for new Eastern European recipes for my husband (his mother passed away and is always nice to have something to remember her and her family by).
I will be glad to share it. Mine was non-traditional since I didn't make the egg dumplings. My god-mother was Slovakian as well, I'll look and see if I can find her recipes. She made the most wonderful goulash, kolaches, runzas... mmmmmmm!! I do remember that she used sweet Hungarian paprika though -- she always kept a container of it on hand. you ought to be able to find it in the specialty section of your local store.
Just making sure -- you'd be surprised how many people don't know about the Hungarian paprika and use regular paprika instead. There are times when it's no big deal but other times... yes, it does make that much difference.
