Which five works-in-progress from any fandom would you most like to see completed by the end of the year 2010?


This is kind of hard for me because so many of my bookmarks and earliest noted fics to keep a watch on are still locked on my old computer. I know there were quite a few XF and HL fics (as well as other NLC's) but I honestly have no idea where to look for them anymore. There were also quite a few hockey and BBMt. ones as well -- but again, you guessed it -- all on my other 'puter. So if you're wondering why there aren't many of my old fandoms listed, that's why.

1.) LLD by C. This is one of the few fics from "the old days" that I have been able to keep track of. I am hoping it will be finished sooner than later (because I'm very much afraid it will be finished *just before* Dec. 26, 2012 -- and we all know what that means [vbeg].)

2 and 3. Mael-Gul and Murder the Dawn by Aislynn Crowdaughter. A very dark LotR AU that still manages to be true to canon in many ways.

4. Cuil Eden by esteliel. A fascinating AU; one of the best I've found.

5. Southern Ventures by erfan starled. Another AU; I love when people explore things and develop a *good* backstory.


Yes, there is a definite pattern here. All of them are AU's, and all but one are LotR-related. Well, at least I'm consistent. ;)

I do wish I could have remembered one other fic from one of my old fandoms though because I know I had a bunch of them listed. :(
