1. Comment to this entry saying 'ICONS!' and I will pick SIX of your icons.
2. Make an entry in your own journal and talk about the icons I chose.
2a. Alternately, you can also ask about any others of mine if you're curious.
The following were chosen by
hockeyiris:

1) Legolas: It's hard for me to decide on any specific pic for Legolas (there are so many good ones to choose from), and I chose this back view because I can make it double as a more "generic" elf icon, until I can afford more icons. *Someday*.

2) Cuiviénen: I love this star pic, and I wanted a better name than just 'stars'. And since I have been rediscovering my inner geek, I went with the name from this idea: In the far eastern land of Cuiviénen... the Elves awoke under the starlight of the Years of the Trees.

3) whitecat1 wtf: I love cats, and the expression on this one's face (plus the mis-matched eyes) is just perfect every once in awhile.

4) Asfaloth: Glorfindel's horse in the books [the same one Arwen is shown riding in the movie, though this is not the same horse from the movies].

5) Rocky Horror cast: One of my favorite movies *ever* and I love watching it, especially for Halloween. XD

6) farewell: I found this at one of my 'non-writing' comms in late 2007/early 2008 and I filed it "to be used later". I never thought "later" would be 22 Jan 08.
ETA: I was asked about these icons.

7) window and rose: As with 'Legolas', this one is not only my 'English country house' icon but it also doubles for the symbol for a certain House in Gondolin. [Can you guess which one? ;)]

8) Heath as director: This is one of my favorite pictures of Heath. I'm not sure which set it's from though. From what I understand, he planned to direct after finishing his last movie(s) -- and I genuinely believe that he is now fulfilling that dream.

I was going to ask about Farewell, Legolas, Cuiviénen, Rocky Horror, but you have answered them :)
So
Window and Rose, and Heath as director were the other two I was going to ask about.
