I was literally going out the door to go and visit Auntie and Uncle when the wind started blowing *hard*; I checked the local tv website and sure enough, there are wind advisories for the area. No time limit on them, so it will probably blow until night. *sigh* I meant to leave sooner but there was company first, and now wind... yeah. Oh well, it might calm down in a bit -- we'll see. I doubt it though.

So, what will I do with today then? Probably more laundry, that never seems to end. Writing maybe, if I can get motivated enough to actually do it. I'm really feeling blocked for no apparent reason. Arrgh! >:(

I really want to see Auntie and Uncle before the weather turns bad or they discourage visitors due to flu, or something. That sort of thing usually starts in October and with all the publicity about H1N1 (which I think is a big overblown scare tactic), I am sure they will be more than willing to err on the side of caution. Myself, I will probably get the shots when they are available locally (the regular one already is, I'm just super-slow getting it.)

Gil is demanding chai lattes again -- maybe I can talk him into some hot chocolate instead.
