Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays To Everyone! :)

Just got back from Hastings and visiting w/my aunt and uncle. They *loved* their gift, btw. Sucess! Christmas dinner was pretty good, not half bad. Could have used more sweets but otoh, w/my uncle being a very bad diabetic... (even so, they had a store bought peach pie that just *had* to be filled w/all sorts of sugar, so go figure). I got a TMNT can of popcorn, several dishtowels and other household nescessities. Not bad. LeeAnn stayed home because it was *warm* out today and taking her would have meant packing a cage to put her in because it would have been to hot for her in the car. (She's just a little too hyper to take in their house). Besides, I didn't want to risk her getting sick somehow after I just had her to the vet yesterday.

LeeAnn got a new plush sqeak toy to play with; she refuses to have anything to do w/the plastic ones. No idea why. Bidd got a new "fleece" bed that I put in her window. Bidd ran and hid from it at first, then she sat in it and *frowned* at me for awhile. So I pretended to ignore her and sure enough, she soon laid down in the "bread loaf" position . From there, she soon laid her head on its side (just writing that makes *my* neck hurt) and eased herself into a nice circle. Heeee! I knew she'd like it! However, she may never lay on the couch again, which will be too bad, cause she does a great imitation of a heating pad. So, we'll see what happens. All in all, a good day. I hope that yours was as good as mine!
