Snow Day, Part 2

Whoa! Talk about snow! We got about 5 inches or so. Lots of drifting too. Almost everything from Kearney east is closed; no school, lots and lots of cancellations of all sorts. For once I didn't bother to check the mail, either. Didn't get outside until 2:30pm to check on Grandma's. Waded through several drifts but didn't bother to scoop any--Mom thinks it's too hard on the heart; also I put the snow shovel away last week--d'oh! :p It's so tempting to make a snowman but I just would rather enjoy the snow by staying inside.

Right now I am watching "Mystery, Alaska" and I did remember to set the vcr for tonight's Wings game on ESPN2. :D

I'll probably fix some hot chocolate tonight. I need to bake more cookies for mom, too. Sounds yummy to me.
