Nothing New

Except for me tinkering w/some fics. Other than that... It's been quiet. I'm tired and half-asleep. LeeAnn was needy and had to be held while I tried to look things up. *Not* an easy thing to do. She may only be five pounds but it's a *solid* five pounds. No wonder my shoulders and back always ache. I am still cruising eBay. Nothing special, just to be looking ya know. ;) One of my goals is to someday have enough money so I could really buy some cool stuff there. Not to worry, I'm careful. I usually just buy books or sometimes cds or dvds. The selection is *very* limited here. We used to have several really neat stores that had new *and* used cds. (I do love to watch those old turquoise rings though.)*sigh* Those were good days. Now there is nothing in Hastings except the Evil Empire (Wal-Mart, that is) and they are very big on being "moral." They refused to carry certain cds that they considered "offensive." I suppose they have that right but I want to be able to pick and choose for myself, thankyouverymuch. I'm not that stoopid. Yet. Major suckage there people. Why people insist on buying there... well, never mind. This is not the time for a rant. I just don't like 'em. Period. I did some laundry today, which is drying as we speak. Unfortunately I had to do it by hand in the bath tub, which is not fun. It gives me a whole new appreciation for people who lived in the days before electricity and washers/dryers. Nope, not fun. They were big pieces too, sweats and jeans and things like that. Stuff that really soaks up the water and takes forever to dry. I have to keep wringing them out too. Well, time to go nap or something.
