Just Checking In

Well, nothing much has happened. I'm here, it's cold w/just a dusting of snow and I am still trying to find a way to get to see BBM. I have *major* travel issues here, people. I mean, it's 7 hrs to Denver and about $150 if I go by train or bus. Not a whole lot of difference. Well, yeah -- if I go by train I have to leave at 11pm to get to the station and the train leaves about 1am and gets in Denver about 7am. (The bus leaves about noon and gets in... can't remember when, but I'd be coming back about 2am. Oh yay. The catch is, I have to leave Denver about 6pm in order to arrive back at 1am the following morning. Not to mention I need someone in Denver to buy a tix for me (assuming that the daytime shows aren't totally sold out) so I don't just get a round trip to Denver for nothing. Ok, so the family that lives there aren't "nothing" by any means; otoh, they are *very* straight-laced. They simply would not understand this. Ever. Which has always made me wonder if I really wasn't adopted or perhaps a changeling of some sort. I don't fit in w/either side of the family. Heh. I said, 'the' family, not 'my' family. So who says there are no Freudian slips? Hmmmmm. And so it goes.
