1) LOLcats -- I love them. *Love* *Them*. I can identify so well with the pics and caption... [g] Oh yes, I definitely can! XD
2) cats -- I have always had cats, ever since I was a toddler. I can't imagine *not* having cats. In my earliest life I was a priestess of Bast in Ancient Egypt and I'm not kidding about that, even though some probably think I am mad to say it. Right now I have three indoor kitties: Lucky, the eldest, a white shorthair w/grey splotches, is nearly 15; Mama Kitty, a solid grey Manx (very close to a full-blood, I'm sure) who is about 7; and Baby, a 3 yr. old black shorthair w/ spots of white on her toes, belly and chest. They are all female, all self-rescues who showed up at my door, hurt and in need, so I kept them. (They are all spayed and current on shots, btw.)
3) sibs -- This is how I refer to my flist; so many of them have much more in common with me than my own family, or other *local* people who know me irl. Yes, I have met some of my sibs irl -- I had hoped to eventually meet more of them, *and* return some long over-due visits one day -- however, health issues make that impossible now.
4) movies -- I adore movies! I grew up on "old" movies, usually the Saturday late-night ones on tv, just before cable became big. As a result, I have very definite likes and dislikes and while there are some things I can put with/forgive in them, there are a lot more I that I refuse to put up with -- poor writing being at the top.
5) heatwave -- I am very heat-sensitive, and heat/humidity can really bother me; the catch-22 is that I am also very sensitive to a/c, so I have to rely on fans. I know, go figure.
