Today's News

It was very hot. They had heat warnings out, so I didn't go to Hastings. *sigh* Instead, I am trying to keep cool with just fans. Not easy, believe me. Needless to say, I didn't get much done today.

So now I am going to take a cool bath and lay in front of a fan and hope I don't catch a chill.

It's 95 degrees here. Thank goodness that when my furnace went out a few years ago that I got central air installed with the new furnace!

When I lived w/o AC, I used to soak my feet in a pan of ice water. One of my crazy cats loves being outside in the weather. We may get a storm here in the cities, or it may pass south of us.

I wish I could afford central air but that's much too expensive right now. I don't even have a window a/c because they never seem to fit very good in the window and then I worry about someone stealing it out of the window and/or breaking in to steal stuff. :/
