Today's News and Weather Report

Last night I logged off just in time to enjoy a nice rain storm. Nothing bad, just the usual -- thunder, lightning, wind and rain. Wonderful!

Of course, that meant I had to spend today cleaning up all the leaves and teeny branches from the yard... and the laundry that I put outside to dry never *did* dry. All clothes are still damp-ish (at least I have multiple changes of sheets, towels and other bedding!), so guess who gets to try and line dry it again tomorrow am? yup, you guessed it. Because, of course, we are having *more storms* *tomorrow*! Meh.

So it looks like tv in the afternoon, and maybe some writing to be done. We'll see.

That is awful! What part of the world are you in? I have noticed that some of your weather mirrors mine; however, our rain storms have ceased as of now and we are getting some really hot weather. They are talking triple digits here in east Alabama (either actual or heat index) for Saturday. :)

Right in the middle of Tornado Alley, USA lol! ;) I think we do get a lot of the same weather patterns, though.

Like Numenora I too notice the occasional similarity of weather :-)

...You know, I don't want to draw any false conclusions...but if you keep putting out your laundry, and it rains...I'm just saying, there could be a correlation... *whistles innocent-like*

Around here, we know not to wash cars on days we want it to be nice out! ;-)

Actually, I've been holding off with some laundry for that very reason. O;) But there is a limit to just how high even I can let it pile up before taking drastic measures... so I guess I will just have to keep whining about the rain and soggy weather.

Rain and T-storms have been predicted for the last few days but so far, nothing.

I have to put my clothes line back up.

My elderly female cat peed on my rug, so that's outside, waiting to be scrubbed.

Heh, well hopefully you will miss out on the nastier parts of the weather. My clothesline is permanent; it's seldom down.

I hope that your kitty is ok and that you are able to clean the rug without too much trouble.
