One of my outdoor kitties, Baby, finally came back home. She is limping badly but no blood or broken bones protruding from the skin, so I will wait and take her to the vet tomorrow. I had planned to go in today and visit Auntie and Uncle but I can't afford back-to-back trips like that, especially since gas is now close to $2.30+/gal. *sigh* I did not need this, I so did not need this. ::headdesk:: I mean, I've already spent *a lot* on my kitties in the past couple of months -- not that I don't love them but good grief, I've got ten of them hanging around outside, not counting my two indoor babies and my little dog, so just... yeah.

I need many many *many* beers right now.

I don't have beer but I'll share what I do have. *passes the Dorwinion* I'm SOOO sorry to hear about this! I know how horrible it is with the recent warg issues. I hope it turns out to be nothing major and just some rest will help her heal.

Thank you so much. *appreciates the Dorinion* I know how worried you've been over your wargs. I hope it is nothing much but I have a bad feeling that she'll need surgery. :( At least I have a huge carrier I can keep her in to recover if need be.

(((hugs back)))

If she responds okay to a physical exam from you and has no real wounds or anything loose she might just be a bit bruised from a scuffle and okay. I would let her alone for a couple of days and keep an eye on her condition before deciding on a vet visit, that is if there is no serious external injuries and her eating and drinking is fine.

No, it's far worse than that. Her limp was much more than just a bruise from a scuffle. As soon as she comes out from behind the deep freeze, I can get a better idea.

I hope it's nothing to serious.

I just hope it's easily fixable. ::worries::

Hands you a couple of cans :D

Gas here is the equivalent of $6 a gallon. These things always happen, don't they? When one cat has needed treatment another other one will also.

Hugs Binky xxx

::takes cans gratefully::

Wow, it's not that bad here yet. But yeah, it's just one thing after another with the furkids. *sigh*

Poor Baby! I agree that you should wait a day or two before taking her in. My Spooky was limping around one day and then purrfectly fine the next so you never know.

I wish I could wait but I don't dare. This is much worse than a slight limp. Unfortunately, she is hiding behind the deep freeze so I hope she comes out soon so I can get a better look at it.

oh, I am waiting to hear what the vet says. I think 10+2+1 is an overwhelming population*smiles*

Our fuel prices have come down drastically, and I wince at yours..
