Blizzard Is Over and Fire Update

The blizzard is over for now, but it sounds like there is another storm system getting ready to move in as early as tomorrow. ::sigh:: The snow itself wasn't too bad, we only got a few inches but the wind made some *major* drifts. When I got the mail today, there was a notice that there was still "mail to come" -- it must have been one of the mail trucks that got stranded yesterday. I put the kitties out so they could get some fresh air and exercise, especially since it sounds like they'll be on the porch *a lot* from now on.

As for last night's fire, there is still no word on whether or not the owner was inside. I am hoping he wasn't but I'm very much afraid that he probably was at home. There might be some news on tv at noon; I'll have to surf the local stations.

I still say that LJ needs an icon for "blue".
