Chocolate Applesauce Cake

la_samtyrA new recipe to test, if the electricity holds out. ;)
Chocolate Applesauce Cake
½ C. Oil
1 ¾ C. Sugar
16 ounces Applesauce
2. C. Flour
3 Tbl. Cocoa
½ tsp. Cinnamon
1 ½ tsp. Baking Soda
½ tsp. Salt
Combine and pour in a greased 9 x 13 greased pan.
Mix together:
3 Tbl. Sugar
1 C. Chocolate chips
Sprinkle on top of mixture. Bake 40 minutes at 300 degrees.
