As was demonstrated in an interview with Katie Couric, Sarah Palin is unable to name any Supreme Court case other than Roe v. Wade.

The Rules: Post info about ONE Supreme Court decision, modern or historic, to your LJ. (Any decision, as long as it's not Roe v. Wade.) For those who see this on your f-list, take the meme to your OWN LJ to spread the fun.

Brown v. Board of Education, 344 U.S. 1 (1952), 344 U.S. 141 (1952), 347 U.S. 483 (1954), 349 U.S. 294 (1955), segregated schools in the several states are unconstitutional in violation of the 14th Amendment, overturning Plessy.

Note: This was the first legal decision I learned about, way the heck back in jr. high, right after a thorough discussion of the John Peter Zenger trial (in 1735, which eventually led to the First Amendment.)

Shame on me I guess but I have no clue about supreme court desicions. I only know Roe/Wade.

The scary thing is that SP could well become the next vice-president. Dummy me, I actually expected these candidates to have a general knowlege (sic) of key landmark decisions that affect our lives. Be afraid. Be *very* afraid.
