The Cold Continues
Nov. 17th, 2005 03:24 pmHowever, the house-and porch-are now relitavely quiet. Whew! I was beginning to wonder if it was. So now it's going to be a matter of getting used to this sort of fuss every so often. I really wish that spay/neuter was more affordable. But w/the operations costing $75 per, I can't afford it. Not for just the local neighborhood cats anyway. I mean, there's about ten of 'em that show up on a semi-regular basis. You do the math. If they were ferals, I'm sure something could be done. But if I were to call the local cops, it would be kitty heaven for 'em. *sigh* It's so not fair. I wish I had done vet school; at least so I knew how to do the spay/neuter part anyway. But at least they have a warm place for now and at least one square a day. And I continue my attempts at hibernation. I still have the thermostat set @ 60, which people are telling me is just too cold. Actually, I don't think it's so bad; I'm used to it being cool inside. The sun came out for a little while, which always helps my moods. Well, back later w/more ramblings.
