Ah, Monday!
Sep. 8th, 2008 12:24 pmIt's icky out -- cloudy, cool and rainy.
Things just keep going from weird to strange to *ugh*!
Now it seems that my uncle needed to go the ER yesterday because his blood sugar (he is a diabetic who needs to take shots) went from 250 to 50 -- I think I got that right -- and they called 911. They kept him for a few hours and sent him back home. So today they were going to "see" the doctor and make arrangements to go into a nursing home. *SIGH* I was afraid of this. They waited too long and now they are only going to be unhappy because the choice is now no choice, it is *required*. Oh well... nothing to do about it. They have been talking about this for the last four years, ever since my mom passed on but they never would make that first move... :/
Also, My Cousin Donna(tm) called last night and was yakking on about her mom, her mom's bad health and the troubles her mom has had/is having in a nursing home in NC. At least I think that's what she said -- damn cellphones kept cutting out. I cut her short because (1) I didn't want to hear it and (2) I need to save as much time on my phone as is possible.
I hate to think what the rest of the week is going to hold.
