"Making of TDK" on HBO

It's about time! I've been waiting to see this, and despite me glomming on to every scrap of info available, I've cut back now. I'm hardly spoiler-free but now I just want to... anticipate as much as I can, I guess. It sucks that I'll be seeing this 'alone'.

Just a few more days now...

And OH GOD how I wish he was here! It's not right, it just is not right. :(

Someone please direct me to the nearest time machine.

I already bought my TDK movie ticket for the 18th. I plan on seeing it by myself in a dark room full of strangers while Heath as the Joker is larger than life on screen. Actually I prefer seeing it alone so I can have him to myself. And yes I plan on bringing tissues. I'm sure I will be on LJ soon after, so look for me, OK?

Here they aren't selling tix in advance; it's doubtful that the small theatre will even sell out. But I'd love to have some rl support when I see it. {hugs} Not sure if I will be online when I get back though, it's a long drive.

One of the men I work with was complaining the other day about some footage cut from TDK: The Joker is in a body bag - a ruse so he can get closer to someone or somthing like that. Anyway, supposedly test audiences responded very negatively to the scene because Heath is now gone, so they decided to cut that scene.

With all your TDK knowledge, do you know if this is true? On the one hand, I don't know that I'd be too comfortable watching that scene myself. On the other hand, it's Heath footage and the more the better!

I, too, will be seeing it alone. I'm sure others from work will attend the same midnight showing as me, but still, I'll be alone.

I'm not sure. I've heard that they were going to cut the scene but I also heard that they were thinking about leaving it in. I guess it's going to be a case of wait-and-see. I'm so eager to see it, and yet I know it's going to be hard.
