Well, I got a few things done. Not very much though, and at least I don't have to worry about playing hostess. Still no news from My Cousin Donna(tm), but I am assuming that it means she's not coming. *Hopefully*. Otoh, one of my LA cousins (the one I like least of all now, thanks in large part to a certain someone whispering poison in his ear every chance she gets. But then I always was mean-spirited and petty...) His daughter is going to Berkeley, iirc, which means I must now support USC -- which goes against my usual inclinations. Damn. Part of me really wishes for a way out of this but at the same time I know I will go. It's probably the last time I see some of the older cousins. No other news. I'm going to make an early night of it so I can get going early tomorrow. Wish I could think of some good LA insults but I'm coming up blank. Oh well.

Oh I know. If I could have, I would have gone to Berkeley. It just kills me that *she* is going there -- grrrr! And I would so love to tell more about my family; there's a lot of stuff that can't be even thought out loud, let alone online.
