Logging in from the Me
Jun. 26th, 2008 11:09 pmBig storm again; straight-line winds. Heading toward moi, as per usual. Oh. Yay. Cats are a little hyper but the dog is stretched out on her side, no sign of upset yet.
EDIT: There are some reports of fires (storm-related??) in Kearney.
The (tornado) sirens are to go off when the winds hit 60 mph; the winds are at least 63 mph.
EDIT #2: The storm is here -- I can hear the hail right now -- and the "width"? of the rain band is about 65 mi. Oh, and some pretty purple/turquoise spots showing up in the radar.

The Kearney fires are transformer fires -- not good.
