Storm Encore

Yes, storms. *Again.* I can only guess how boring this makes my posts. Am I worried, despite assorted thunderstorm/tornado watches/warnings (right now it's a combination of them that are overlapping -- sheesh!)? Well, no. Because the furkids are all sprawled out (loose circles for the cats, paws up for the little dog -- and they are all *snoring*. The night of the Kearney tornado, they were fussy. Tonight, nada. And if *I* can hear thunder and wind and some rain and *they* are not freaked, I figure I have nothing to worry about. So I am just vegging in front of the tube, watching the radar to see what going on around us. Nothing much else to watch anyway.

In other news, My Cousin Donna(tm) called. Not much conversation though because the phones kept cutting out -- it's legit, this time. I thin she's going to try and call tomorrow sometime. Damn.

For now, I am working on fic (pretending to, rather.) Back later on.

It is not a good thing being on the phone when the weather is bad, anyway. It's nice that you have your own 'early-alert' weather system in the furkids. Good luck on your fic. I am supposed to be finishing out ch 12 of my A/L fic, but I decided to check on my flist, first. I hope to have it up by tomorrow evening. *finger firmly crossed* Patty.

Oh cool, I'm looking forward to Ch. 12! :) Yes, I know I should stay off the phone during storms but since we've been in some sort of warning/watch for nearly a month, it's kind of hard to do. And we have assorted storms predicted for the whole week -- *again.* Oh well, comes w/living in Tornado Alley, I guess.
