Stormy Weather
Apr. 24th, 2008 10:44 pmAnd here I bet you thought you weren't going to get a weather update tonight. Well, it seems that there is a nice storm heading toward Hastings, which means it looks like we will be having some nastiness before too long. The worst storms are to the south in KS but they are heading this way, just not sure how fast.
The most common writing advice is to "write what you know" -- accordingly, that means I would write about the weather. And "Twister" has been done, no real way for me to add to that. So you lucky people get to read about it instead, and for free! See what a gift I am giving you! XD
Ok, yes I know -- not funny. So I will probably log off before too much longer since I need to sleep and there is nothing to special to watch on tv, other than weather alerts.
One other item of interest: it appears that the sirens are going off in Kearney not because of a tornado (or at least not right now) but instead because the system was struck by lightning. It figures, right?
